Sabri's tactics haven't changed much since his days embezzeling money from the foreign
student organization at the University of Minnesota. Yes the tactics have evolved,
what he pulled in the wedge was a little more evolved, then what he pulled in Central
was yet another evolution - then Whittier, (and a few attempts at Ventura Village in
the meantime). He always spreads misinformation so that those folks who want to
believe him can. The character assassination thing for his vocal opponents is ever
present, as well as vandalism against peoples' property. The car vandalizing thing
happened to his neighbor in the suburbs, Jana Metge, Judy Cooper Lyle, several
Whittier residents, several Central residents, and Omar Jamal. The other fun tactic
is getting anyone who has a business relationship with him to speak in his defence.
This was the deal when he had tennants from his building in Whittier vote in the
Central elections, this was the deal with the Latino Artist Group (wh
 o he has
since thrown away), this is the deal now with the weird posts from Sabri tennants
defaming those who speak against him. It's especially interesting how many of the
people that think they can do business with him end up at the short end of the stick
before long. Sabri makes big promises, like the promise of one year free rent at the
Suqua Karmel for tenants to support his variance requests - he doesn't follow through
though which is predictable. Then he starts suing people. So, you can see that his
tactics evolve, but don't change, there is a very real pattern for anyone who cares to
examine the facts.

The other thing Sabri likes to do is brag about being a private developer who doesn't
take government money - but he's take hundreds of thousands in subsidies, even before
the Elroy site! It's also debatable whether what he does actually qualifies as
development. I don't think it's a coincidence that Sabri uses the same lawyer (Randy
Tigue) as Ferris Alexander. Sabri takes the government money, then wants to have his
cake and eat it too by taking the money for a lower revenue use, then trying to build
the highest revenue use.

And to think - our mayor supports this guy! Look what happened to Sharon Sayles
Belton, Sabri embarassed her in the campaign; is Rybak's support now some sort of
payback? Check the campaign contribution records - I bet I know what you'll find!

Despicable rumors wont get Sabrin no where!

I received phone calls today from misinformed members of Somali community about the
role of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center at the Elroy site.

I would like first of all to express as an Executive Director of the Somali Justice
Advocacy Center to have a good working relationship with all the city council members.
I, Mr. Omar Jamal am honored to have a good working relationship with both Council
Gary Schiff and Robert lilligren.

I am asking Sabri and his cronies to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and
stop to talk about peoples personal lives in the hope to manipulate immigrants.

I will say this now that I was and still am against marriage amendment of our
constitution; however, it is very sad that Sabri and his cronies are using that now to
misinform immigrants who have no idea what has been going on at the Capital.
