The best part of it was seeing people that come from different ends of the 
spectrum getting to know each other.  It was a brilliant idea in my opinion. 
 Quite possibly, the first step in starting something very exciting in 
MPLS.  People working TOGETHER for the common good of ALL.

The PEACE Ball was marvelous.  Hats off to Councilmember Samuels.    This 
one was a lot like Sharon Sayles Belton's  1st Inaugural  Ball  - a very 
diverse crowd with just about anybody  who is anybody in this City was 
there.  My guess is there were 6-700 people there at any one time with many 
coming and going - so maybe a 1,000 all together.  And the music was great, 
dancing got wild and the dresses - my, oh my - lots of stunning outfits. 
And as far as I could tell all of the political parties in Minneapolis were 
represented.
