I organized no meeting and was not part of any group that organized the meeting at Salem Lutheran Church last night. I did not even attend this meeting. This meeting was organized by the Somali Justice Center. I did forward the notice from the Somali Justice Center to the Mpls Issues list as information. I do this regularly on many different issues.
I am not a board member of the Whittier Alliance and my objections to the re-development of the Elroy Site is due to my membership of the South Whittier Redevelopment Task Force and because I neighbor this site, not because of my professional position with the NRP. I am not assigned to Whittier for my position with NRP. My public posts on the issues list about the development of the Elroy Site have said nothing derogatory about Mr. Sabri personally or his treatment of his tenants.
