I thought the reason that the noise insulation was cutback was because there just
wasn't enough revenue to do it?
There is, of course, very little immediate return to Northwest on the money spent for
home noise insulation, and further
solidifying their monopolistic hold on MSP gates would likely prove very profitable
for them, but isn't this where
government is supposed to protect the interest of those that big business would
otherwise run over by reneging on a
promise? Looks to me like another case of Minneapolis residents shouldering the load
for the benefit of burbs and out
state.
