I believe the road is safer, but the overall picture has not

to our CM Colvin Roy, work is being done to get the lights more in sync.

Glad rail is here and waiting for it to be extended, be it lrt or personal
rapid transit as Steve mentioned. I believe PRT has more merit in
city....PRT could work along Lake St., Hennepin and University very nicely.
There are a lot of websites for PRT, but one that is animated easy reading
is www.personalrapidtransit.com

I drive this road twice each day, and am not liking it as much since the LRT opened.
It does seem to be getting better, but slowly.
I am also very thankful that I do not have to cross Hiawatha at some of the
intersections so many are complaining about.

What efforts are being done to fix the problem are way too slow in coming. I would
like to suggest that the persons fixing it be a variety of affected persons that would
have a stake in getting it done right. Right now I think it must be a bunch of
college educated persons that don't even live near the mess, let alone drive it.

Oh, I do find the LRT a nice experience when riding it. Once a week right now and
soon to be twice a week. Now if I could just land a job downtown I could shove the
car in the garage all week, and not deal with Hiawatha traffic at rush hour.
