I agree.

What some like best about alternatives to PRT is the much greater cost.
The more it costs to build, the more money the builders get to build it.
Developers and the building trades unions and their attached elected
officials love LRT and fight PRT.

PRT, since it could be an effective antidote to cars and highways and
concrete and gas and oil, is fought by all their lobbies.

I think the people would love PRT. But first they must over-ride the
forces that don't want them to get that first compelling life-changing
taste.
