Wait. Hold on. The Community Summit that occurred in April and May of 2003,
involved community engagement issues about and for MINNEAPOLIS, not St.
Paul. It was put together by Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association,
Minnesota Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing, Seward Neighborhood
Group, and the Center for Neighborhoods. It also used a facilitator from
the Center for Policy, Planning and Performance.

I happen to live in St. Paul, but the Summit did not cover issues concerning
St. Paul.

Thanks to Gregory Luce for sharing very helpful information from Saint
Paul's Community Summit to assist the Minneapolis Community Engagement
Project
(MCEP). This posting reminds us that, while not really "twin" cities,
Saint
Paul and Minneapolis are addressing many similar issues and should learn
from
each other.

This note also anticipates many other such postings on the mpls.mnforum and

sends MCEP's appreciation to all those who will comment in the future. We
will, on occasion, offer more specific questions/comments to help encourage
this
 conversation as well.
