Hey, c'mon, people! This is a chance for the list to show
its power! Normally write-in candidacies have little chance,
but if there is no candidate in district 3, all we need here is
for someone (qualified, that is) on the list to come forward
and ask for write in votes, and if even a few of the 1,000
on here (not counting folks like me who live in New Brighton)
do a write-in, that person will win.

Pam and others can correct me, but I believe the rule is that
to be eligible, you have to LIVE in the district, but that the
actual voting is done county-wide. A rather strange thing,
to be sure, and one that we might want to change, but I
think that's the way it is right now.

So----- what are the boundaries of district 3, and what
civic-minded citizen is ready to come forward here?

already knows to vote for Gwen Willems
and Marj Ebensteiner for Soil and Water

Mike Wyatt is running in District 5. He works for the Minnehaha Creek
Watershed District as an Environmental Planner and I support his candidacy.
His website is:

The website for HCD is:

I know the job. I know the budget. But I don't know the candidates.
District 1 Kim Boyce
District 3 no candidate
District 5 Jonathan Burns, Kevin Rodewald, Gregory Bowink, Michael Wyatt
all
running for one seat.
Is there any information about these candidates available?

Thanks,
Scott Vreeland Seward
