Agree on one thing? We could begin with IRV - Instand Runoff Voting.
We had a vote on IRV. In the House, 90% of DFLers voted in favor it, and 90% of Republicans voted against it. In the Senate, 91% of DFLers voted in favor of it, and 83% of Republicans voted against it.
Of course, that was the rest of the state telling Roseville what it couldn't do. Luckily, Minneapolis doesn't need to go to the Legislature to implement IRV. Either we get 13 City Council members to say yes, or we get enough to put it on the ballot so the voters can decide.
