People run for office when they feel ready to take on the challenge. WizardMarks, Central

I still have a question for him on why he is running. If it is truely about the issues he said in his announcement, he should of ran in 1997, when the murder rate was double it is now, or in 2001 when the Ventura administration started to attack schools, or in 1993 when NRP was still getting off the ground.REMINDERS:
It seems to me that this is more about revenge for 2001 when his political allies where soundly regected, or political oportunity (finally "his turn"), not desire to help the city or any actual crisis.

I like Jordan's questions and hope Commissioner McLaughlin will take the time
to answer them. Let's here the answers Peter. Your constituents are listening.
I have put him on notice that if he runs with the stadium at tax payer expense
I will actively help his opponents in any race he is in.
That being said, anyone wanting to run for Mayor or Commissioner on a platform
that does not include a tax payer funded stadium can contact me and I will help
however I can.

Peter McLaughlin never responded. It seems that all of the questions are
still timely. Perhaps now that he is entering a tightly contested race, he
can respond.
