Mark Synder: Once again Ms. Heller demonstrates an inability to tell the
whole story.

Vicky Heller: Gosh, I assumed that Listmembers could read. That's why I
included the link to the WHOLE STORY. If others want to be spoon fed, just
let me know.

Dyna Sluyter: ...the "growth" trends you trumpet are little if any the
result of Minnesota's or Minneapolis' taxes.

Vicky Heller: I know a lot of people moving west, and they're taking their
businesses and employees with them. In fact, I would guess that many of
them are millionaires. Yesterday's USA today published a very telling
article about the growing "red" states and the shrinking "blue" states.
Check it out.

Dyna Sluyter: When Minneapolis and other metro area communities stabilize
the housing market by providing such affordable housing we'll start seeing
population growth again.

Vicky Heller: The easy way to create lots of affordable housing in
Minneapolis is to triple the residential property taxes. I guarantee a
major decline in housing values. Oh wait! Maybe that's what our City
Council has in mind. Maybe they're smarter than I think.
