RC: How is the $100 per replacement broken down? How much is labor costs, how much is equipment, how much is support costs, and how much is for the actual tree? I expect that the greatest costs are for labor and equipment. Or is the $100 just the cost of the tree, in which case the replacement cost is MUCH higher. If a person is willing to come to a specified location, pick up the tree, transport it to the site, contact Gopher State One Call, dig the hole, plant the tree, and take care of it; the MPRB savings due to reductions is staff and equipment costs would be enormous.
