    My read of the article is that it was Ms. Peebles who made her behavior an 
"East Coast" thing. It seems to me that it
was her way of attempting to blunt negative comments about her behavior.
    By the way, I thought Steve's article was a nice job of reporting what is 
happening in the administrative part of the
MPS.  The good news is that we are talking about the kind of adult behavior 
that is most likely to bring about positive
outcomes for the kids - that's a step up from where we were at this time last 
year.
