After being chastised by Ms. Susan Young of Minneapolis Solid Waste and
Recycling as to my statement on the recycling of glossy paper, I finally
located my copy of Carts, Bins and Bags, the recycling guide
(printed on recycled paper) from Minneapolis Solid Waste and Recycling.

For those who have retained their copy it clearly states on page 3, under
office paper and mail, DO NOT INCLUDE glossy paper with your recycling.

I draw the bold conclusion that the Mayor's mailing, being on glossy stock
comes under the category of do not include. Thus it appears, as stated in my
earlier post, that the Mayor's mailing will meet it's demise at the garbage
burner or plowed into the ground at a landfill.
