I am left scratching my head on this... JACC has the wisdom to rent a vacant house on the extremely prolematic street corner of 26th & James Ave N, to allow the CRT team to perform surveillance of the drug/gang related activity that has plagued this area AND its residents for a very long time. And it is deemed as "secretly monitoring its neighbors".

News flash - most of the individuals being "secretly monitored" DO NOT even live in our neighborhood. They only come here to sell illegal narcotics, and generally create a nusisance.

Another News Flash - Since the project started, illegal drug selling activity is almost non-existent. It is simply amazing to drive down that strectch of road and not see anyone hanging on that street corner any longer. WHY the change, if they weren't doing anything wrong?

I could care less what it costs. Take the monthly rental costs for the property, divide it amongst the 100 closest preperties to the street corner and assess each one an equal amount. See if anyone complains about paying $10/month for the increased livablity associated with this endeavor. I'll pick-up their their monthly share if they do..

How incredibly stupid could someone be to choose drug dealing and gang-bangers as the lesser of two evils?
