DEC responds.... maybe the other parties' nominating process isn't so ponderous. Why do we have to have separate meeting dates for precinct caucuses and Ward Conventions? and then schedule them 6 weeks apart?) Since most Wards are holding all of their precinct caucus meetings in the same building, wouldn't it have made more sense to have precinct caucuses in the morning and then the delegates could have just stayed around for a ward convention.
