Those of you who are interested in becoming fully informed about the boom in
condo and loft construction in downtown Minneapolis, be sure to read the latest
issue of the Skyway News, February 14-20 "Who owns downtown"

The issue is truly amazing...what an acheivement...from the creative monopoly
board on the cover to the incredibly detailed, information packed charts and
maps...
to the overview of all the sites potentially "hot" for development, to the
profiles
of players like the Hines developers, the Short family, and Andrea Christensen,
and commentary by Lisa Goodman and RT Rybak...it's incredible, and all
concerned must have worked VERY hard on it.

The research is thorough, the writing is provocative and thought provoking,
and it's like a great drama...all the issues and players are brought together
and there so much to absorb that I'll be reading and re-reading and thinking
about the articles for a long time...like the recent issue they did on teacher
pensions,
(which I'm also still pondering) this one will never go to the recycle
bin...this is certainly
award worthy journalism.
