Get ALL the Facts Out...
One thing that bothers me about the Nicollet Island issue is the fact that a road would be closed. I heard that the fire dept. had said it was fine....true?...seems strange with all those renewed but old structures in an historical area. If a fire should go through the area....(god forbid)...with one road...emergency coming into the area would seemingly block the road making it hard for anyone to exit. As a safety factor, I would want that road to stay open...a ball game doesn't seem as important as a safe exit.
