I am a product of Upward Bound and Trio/GC. Many working class and people of
color benefited from the environment and support being acclimated to the
University culture. This will gravely impact mobility for many persons that
deserve a second or third chance with the supportive faculty, staff and
students
who understand and appreciate their journey. Many important people have
dedicated their lives to helping first generation college students.

Ernest Hemingway
Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they
arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.
Anais Nin
"Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary

Martin Luther King, Jr
The true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love.
Che Guevara
The man who has no imagination has no wings.
Muhammad Ali
I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your
beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings My wisdom flows from the Highest
Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.
