OK, lets say this new stadium happens and the Twins stay here.

What exactly have we gained that we do not already have?

As I see it, and I am willing to see it some other way if it can be painted in
a truthful verifiable manner.
Carl is raking in the bucks from the concessions.
The taxpayers are paying every day for the new tax.
Now we have an empty dome to contend with.
The persons making money from dome concessions are SOL.
The persons making money from the existing dome skyboxes is also SOL.
Now there are complaints about the smell from the trash burner and a need to
move it or get rid of it.
Parking issues have moved to a different part of town and there are cries for a
new taxpayer funded parking ramp.

This is much the same argument against the Guthrie receiving tax money. The
are already here, why should they get tax money for a new theatre?

There is no way of gaining money on any of these plans. There is only so much
money to be had. My entertainment budget does not grow because we build a new
theatre or stadium. Al it does is shift where the dollars are going.
I hope someone out there my point because I have rambled enough.

Count me tired of paying taxes to help feed the rich.
