....a world where every murder inspires the same kind
of reactions.

Where every murder in Minneapolis causes several
jurisdictions to contribute officers to mount an
aggressive manhunt to immediately apprehend those
responsible.

Where every murder victim is remembered by hundreds of
neighbors and the community mourns together.

Where funds are set up and supported to help ensure
the education of the children of the victim.

Where no prosecutorial and investigative resources are
spared in swiftly charging and bringing the killers to
justice.

A world where the lives of all people are equally
precious, where every murder is a community tragedy,
where the community demonstrates its solidarity in the
face of this tragedy, where we see all members of our
communities as interconnected and valued. In short, a
world that does not exist today.

But think about it ... if every shooting inspired
these responses, what would the world look like?
