There are bound to be other candidates, and there certainly should be. We need hard-working DFLers from around the city to play critical roles in the party, and I encourage others to throw their hats in the ring. I also believe that our leadership can and should more fully reflect the city of Minneapolis. Also, people should remember that we are electing a full slate of officers on Saturday, not just the chair. I hope that people see this as an opportunity for dedicated individuals to play a more active role in the city party. If anyone is interested, they should contact the Aaron Street, Chair of the Nominations Committee ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
