One issue that the anti-ballpark folks bring up is that the bill requires the City to vacate some streets with no compensation.
It is my understanding that the City vacates public streets and alleys all the time without any compensation. Can someone point out to me a time when the City vacated a street or alley and was compensated for it? Dean E.
