Dear friends, family, associates, and supporters,

I wanted to inform you again directly that I am running for the Minneapolis City Council Ward 3 open seat, and have received the Green Party's endorsement. As with any campaign for office, we will run a principled, positive campaign - based on our shared values.

Some you you know me personally, some professionally, and still others fall in between those two. Regardless of our association, I am asking you to consider victory for you and all residents of Minneapolis, and that you step into this circle of victory by actively supporting in a way that highlights your unique talents, skills, and energy that you know you're able to contribute. Your interest in advancing our values and progressing our fair city for the future is so important that it is critical to inform and enroll you to help shape our message and campaign. With our expanding team of volunteers and contributors, we are building a strong coalition of people throughout this newly shaped and diverse ward. Together we are presenting our ideas for opening and strengthening our democracy, protecting and enhancing our environment, and building a more just, sustainable and vibrant city for everyone.

I invite you all take an active part.

Today, I'm happy to announce that we (Neighbors for Neumann campaign) are having our official campaign kick-off THIS Friday night, June 3, from 8pm - late, at the lovely Mill City Coffee in lower NE Mpls. There will be live jazz, refreshments and cash bar with a suggested donation of $5. You can find all the detailed information on our website or right here:

Please make an effort to stop by Friday night and introduce yourself to our campaign, and engage in the process of bridging diverse communities that will shape our future for generations to come in Minneapolis.

In peace and cooperation,

Aaron Neumann
