As I have been preparing for several days for Wednesday's Park Board meeting (make sure to make lots of popcorn and get plenty of tea, beer or juice I did come up with a scenario that will be difficult to address.

The neighborhood/group debates.
One of the ways Park Commissioners and candidates get out to the people is debates and forums held by neighborhood organizations, other groups and such. In the past it has been somewhat like a "teeney/small" convention whereby the Commissioners put literature down on the chairs for people to take home and read at their leisure. There's quite a few of these throughout the city over the next 4 months.

This isn't asking for donations, this isn't a festival or event where tables are rented but an activity sponsored in order to hear and study the candidates who are invited by the citizens. It's an educational and information opportunity!

This should be a good one.

Trying to stay "neutral" - yeah, right!?!
