My guess would be the heavy mats of mill-foil, hot weather, algal blooms, especially blue-greens, which tend to produce hydrogen-sulfide (w/ a raw egg smell), dead fish due to low oxygen levels, etc. A BAD sign this early in the year! And, it's basically all due to surface water runnoff/contaminents/nutrients. I haven't seen any milfoil harvesting, but I assume it's taking place. Anyone know for sure if harvesters are running?
