Stop by Log Cabin Republicans and the Minneapolis
Republican City Committee booth - booth number 3089 -
near the tennis courts.
Stop at the Stonewall DFL booth and you WILL see many elected & endorsed
DFL'ers there, at the party that actually supports human rights for GLBT
people and all people. And has a long-time record of doing so, and
continues to do so.
Funny, but when my partner and I dropped in between 6-7pm tonight, the only
booth that wasn't deserted (that I saw--I admit I missed the LCR booth) was
Farheen Hakeem's...in fact, she handed us some literature herself. RT's
booth: flashy, but empty. Stonewall: ditto. (Incidentally: "THE party"...?
How about "a party"--there are at least two.)
Granted, it was around dinner time, so I didn't expect a lot of people to be
there, but for as many DFLers as had signs up at their booth I thought at
least one of their volunteers would stick around!
