Hello,

   I've read several postings regarding city budgets,
discretionary funding re-allocations, and the recent
funding of additional officers. Where are these stats
coming from? It would be very helpful of people would
provide a point of reference for their assertions.
Also, people should be aware of the complexities of
funding and check out sources: Federal, State, Local.
If you don't view the city budget in context,
observations like I've seen can be very mis-leading.
