My old dog Jazz loves to chase rabbits. It's his favorite sport in life. He's too slow to catch them, but he won't quit trying. I walk him late at night and there are a LOT of young rabbits within a few blocks of my house in Linden Hills... more than in recent years I'd guess. [side note- while Jazz is getting older and slower, he managed to warn me of several nearby black and grizzly bears along the trail in the wilds of northern Canada last year; while he's definitely a keen-nosed, welcome buddy in the back country, here in town he's stuck chasing rabbits.]
