We now have SIX recycling bins at our house if you need more bins all you have to do is request them and the city will deliver them. Yes we have our two green ones and four newer blue ones. Joan Thom Hawthorne
Brandt: My understanding is that the city's program serves apartment sof up to four units, but that larger buildings contract for their own recycling services. I agree with others about the inadequacy of city recycling bins. A city that truly was interested in encouraging recycling would supply as many bins as needed. I hauled eight or so bags of recycling out to the alley this morning, and that's from just a two-person household. Inevitably one bag breaks, and I have to rebag it. But there's an upside to that. This morning I discovered that my wife had recycled some of my stacks of school data, and found the report on class size I had been trying to find on my desk at work.
