Despite an attempt to muddy the waters, the point is this: Just because someone is a candidate doesn't mean you get to insult them personally (attacking personal characteristics) or call them names like sock puppet.
There's still tons of room for you to criticize their issue positions and explain why they should not be elected. Most of you are intelligent enough to do this. The point is to keep discourse issue-based, not distraction- and insult-based. I do not believe it weakens powerful points. Those who do are welcome to try another list. Also, list rulings aren't debatable on this list. This has been stated many times, and is in our rules.
