I agree - it's a great stand, Jason.
Just a thought though - why doesn't somebody just start taking minutes
for the park board? I mean, somebody else (Liz Wielinski) already does
pretty much that. I'd be willing to go to a couple park board meetings
and take minutes for them (but I can't make it to all of them). They
could be posted on a website (maybe one of the reform the board
websites). Then, in a pseudo-bitchy protest during open mic every week,
we can recap what happened at the last meeting and submit our minutes to
the commissioners.
Maybe after a meeting or two, they'd figure out that it really isn't
that difficult to do. And, if they don't get it then, maybe they'll
figure it out come November.
