If Hauser is truly concerned about lawsuits against
the Park Board, she ought to support disciplining
Superintendent Gurban for his outrageous behavior when
he called Park Police to stop a candidate who has been
critical of Gurban from his first amendment right of
freedom of speech.
I still don't get why Thandiwe Peebles is on probation
and Gurban is not.
It still bothers me that the Leviticus Crowd has
driven good moderates like Jim Bernstein and Terrell
Brown from the Republican Party. Now both are running
for office under the DFL banner. Jim Bernstein as a
Republican Park commissioner would be of great benefit
to the Republican Party in Minneapolis. In the case
of Jim Bernstein - his cat was kidnapped to punish him
for being pro-choice on abortion. It also bothers me
that both Terrell and Jim left the party - because
that's exactly what the Michele Bachmann wing of the
party wants - the moderates to leave.
