Ah, I was wondering when someone would make an allusion to the fact that
the Gang of Five are all DFL'ers and that therefore, logically, it must be a
DFL position to give away parkland to De LaSalle. Of course, you would have to
overlook the fact that Phyllis Kahn is an opponent of this. And that Barry
Clegg is a former DFL Senate District Chair and current precinct chair. Or that
Liz Wielinski is the treasurer of my senate district DFL organization. Or the
countless other DFLers who are opposing this proposal. And I'm about as
hard-line a DFLer as you can get (and proud of it) and I'm appalled at this
giveaway.
Let's be clear, this is not a partisan issue. There are people of all
political affiliations on both sides of this issue.

I believe that should include all of the citizens of Minneapolis not just a
few. This really has gotten to be a group of DFL hardliners who want to push
this through
as they have many other projects in this city without concern for anyone but
their own agenda.
