While I couldn't agree more that less than $200 is a deal, and while I would
have to dig up my papers to find the actual amount (for some reason approx
$190 comes to mind, but would have to verify), the $100+ plus comment was
with reference to the string of emails with the subject: "boulevards/private
property" where someone had mentioned $100 sidewalk replacement fees (sorry
I don't have the specific email any longer to cite).

The real point of my email was that the sidewalk replacement bit.  It did
not last, was a sub par job at best, and if forced to replace it, will cost
me another bunch of $$$.  The time, phone calls to the city/inspectors,
having to be there to ensure other problems don't arise during the actual
job and cost of another sidewalk run significantly past $100, $200 or even
$500.  It's easier to take my chances and see if I can't keep it from
getting worse.
