Because in many instances the signs were placed on the boulevard so that the person placing the sign didn't have to get the homeowner's permission.

Unfortunately - our Supt. would probably demand such a thing rather than maybe giving everyone a few days to remove them and get them back up on the lawns - where they belong or some other kind of compromise.

Therefore, since I know there are lots of candidates, campaign workers and interested parties who have lawn signs in their yards on this list - why doesn't everyone just go out and get them in the right place so no other "dramas" need to develop.
