How is it that Mayor Rybak is to blame for those crimes? Once could just as easily blame the Police Federation itself for failure to adequately protect citizens from these kinds of horrific crimes! But, that too would be foolish because the police cannot be everywhere or anticipate every crime! I for one am getting tired of Sgt. Delmonicos endlessly trying to pin the blame for criminal activity on Mayor Rybak. Police officers deserve our support! The Police Federation does not.

John Delmonico Subject: Are you leading what Mayor Rybak calls a "high-risk lifestyle?" On June 25, 2005 Mayor R. T. Rybak had the gall to tell the Star Tribune that, Minneapolis is a safe city for those not involved in highrisk lifestyles. Is that a fact Mr. Mayor? Here are some of Rybaks highrisk lifestyles and recent crime victims in Minneapolis: --Grandmother buying gasoline murdered --Threeyearold walking with mom shot --Mowing the lawn kidnapped and beaten --Walking to the office murdered --Driving into work carjacked --Repairing electrical lines shot --Eating at a downtown restaurant murdered --Woman sleeping in her bed shot The problem for Minneapolis residents is not highrisk, its high crime. And its high time fedup voters sent Mayor Rybak a message. Thats why the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis is urging primary voters to vote ABR: Anyone But Rybak. And to get the word out, the Federation is broadcasting a radio commercial urging voters to send Rybak a message he cant ignore. Click the link below to hear the message for yourself. And dont forget to vote ABR on Tuesday, September 13. ### RADIO AD Paid for the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis Contingency Fund.
