Thankyou Peter. I respect the feelings of the person who posted their concern regarding these allegations... However, please, please remember, there are people who do go around presenting themselves as speaking for pubic figures when they have no business doing this. and certainly no business attributing their hateful attitudes to a candidate whom I know does not support such hatred. I do respect Peter McLaughlin. He would not support this sort of behavior. There's been an allegation against someone who characterized himself as one of my campaign staff members. The person is not on my payroll and I find the alleged statement disappointing and appalling. Campaign tactics of this nature are not reflective of the campaigns that I have run. This alleged hateful speech against Farheen does not represent either my long term commitment to GLBT issues or the way I have stood by my Islamic constituents.
