Yes, only I heard Rybak had asked Jackie to be his delegate to the United
Nations.
Is it also true that Rybak has promised to fire McManus and bring back
Charlie Stenvig as Chief of Police if re-elected. Someone has said that RT
has decided to abolish the entire Police Force to save tax dollars for those
living in safe neighborhoods. Could that be true? The answer is NO. So are
people ready to believe stupid things or not? The Jackie thing is an
example of a desperate campaign attempting to attach something to a
candidate and force that person to spend time denying it. Of course if I
were Jackie I would not appreciate the RT people's attempt.
I am amazed that Blackstad and the Rybak campaign is this desperate.
Perhaps they should just point out the positive things about their
candidate. RT is very cute and articulate. RT will promise you anything
you want because RT cannot stand people thinking bad of him. RT....RT....
RT.... heck I guess I used up all the positive. See Mr. Blackstad should
not have too hard a time getting the positive out. That is all there is.
Run ads with a picture saying "Who cares if the City is floundering,
Minneapolis has the cutest Mayor you could find"
Minneapolis deserves a little less fluff and a lot more substance in the
Mayors office. Perhaps we need more than just someone who looks cute.
Perhaps Minneapolis needs someone who can do the WORK of being Mayor. Not
just look cute and take credit for the work of others.
This past week a leading person from the State commented (disgustedly) that
that bunch in the Mayor's office couldn't run a frat beer party, let alone a
City or political party. She also commented that the Republicans love RT
being Mayor, that his staff does more to make Republicans look good than
anything they could do themselves. Sadly I think she is correct.
