There is a long piece in today's NEW YORK TIMES Business Section  regarding 
the merger. An interesting tidbit is the assertion that the "biggest  
commercial challenge" to the new organization is the loss of classified ad  
revenue to 
Craigslist and the development of an alternative site  backpage.com. Here is
