Good suggestions!  I try to attend as many board meetings as I can (although 
I've missed the last couple because I broke my right wrist and can't drive) but 
the timing is always a hassle.  I have
to race out of my building as soon as the students are gone to make the 
meetings.  Most of the parents at my school don't have the ability to make 4:00 
meetings let alone 3:00 dicussion meetings.
I would like the board to take minutes and post them on the web site.  I don't 
have cable TV,so if I can't make the meeting and don't catch it on KBEM I'm 
lost.  Also, they turn off the
radio/cable for the non-agenda delegations so if you're not at the meeting you 
don't get to hear all the community comments.
