Sw Journal conveniently failed to mention the -$42,000 overspending on Scott
Person's second year as LNA President. That is fiscal management Bush style.

The Auditor's friendly letter does not account for the -$82,000. Board
members have the fiduciary duty what that money was spent on and LNA has the
legal responsibility to answer those questions. Where is the itemized
accounting of that money?

((( NEW ))) As to the $8000 phone bill explanation given by Persons's
people in the SW Journal, if true, it may be a violation of non-profit tax
law.
Lyndale Neighborhood Association should not be paying the phone bill of
another orgnization, Lyndale Neighborhood Development Corporation. LNDC
should pay its part of the phone bill separately. If this was a donation
from LNA to LNDC it should be listed as such. If LNDC reimbursed LNA for its
share of the phone bill then the full $8000 is not LNA's phone bill for the
year. Or is this the same "fuzzy bookkeeping" as the -$82,000 never itemized
for the Board's fiduciary oversight?
So when Scott Persons is in City Council will we see mysterious write offs
and phone bills that don't really tell us where the money went?
When city residents ask questions of Scott Persons the City Councilperson
will we be "voted off the island" for wanting to know? Will annonymous
envelopes be delivered containing personal information to shut down
adversaries?
