They sit pen in hand week after week. When I first saw the phenomonon, I
couldn't believe it.

These were the weird watchers carefully taking minutes of Park Board meetings
week after week for years!

I came to realize that they were merely dutiful, as they sat carefully
documenting what IS weird -- the machinations of the Majority Five who decreed
minutes of their meetings were unnecessary.

The Misdirected Majority rode roughshod over procedures and policies. Their
solutions to tightening budgets were porta potty cutbacks and closed tot
lots.(The hold-it and close-it solution.)

Now it's the voters turn to take over responsibility.

Check out their site if you still need info., like their endorsements or the
minutes for the last two years! www.mplsparkwatch.org

Then vote for reform and urge your neighbors to vote also. Otherwise, the park
(and porta potty) you lose could be your own.
