I think before we make not voting against the law, we should work on ensuring that voters are sufficiently informed when they come to the polls. If the majority of voters don't pay attention but are forced to vote, thus making their decisions based on the phonetic harmony or disharmony of a candidate's name, I think we'd better revisit the definition of democracy.
Perhaps we're at that point already.
