Yes, it is possible, but ... you need to remove the old QMgr carefully from the cluster before you stop it, or ...
you need to forceremove the old QMgr later on the (one) full repository QMgr. My experience in the past was, that either admins have forgotten, to remove the QMgr, or some channels were still active (they need to become inactive first) etc. So I would suggest NOT TO REUSE a QMgr name - or simply to upgrade the existing QMgr (or you are very familar with MQ clustering and you are able, to remove the QMgr properly and you are able, to look on the full repositories, if the QMgr is removed, and you have time enough).
