Today you sent me mail regarding Hourly stats (was: newbie CF query): *> > *> Am I right in assuming that this would allow me to create a graph with *> > *> hourly averages, being more than 1 pixel wide ? I see yep ... well yes for this specifying the resolution would be neat indeed ... hmmm I guess it could be done by makeing a DEF:vname=rrd:ds-name:CF[:seconds] extension ... most of the internal support for this is already in place ... the only thing which would need some thinking would be to make sure that it is possible to include the same rrd:ds-name:CF combination at different resolutions ... *> It would be nice to display 12 bars with maxima, overlayed with *> 12 bars of averages. It would even be better to be able to have *> two smaller bars next to each other, one for in and one for out. *> (This will be rrdtool-2.0.0 if not 3.0.0, right :) well this should not be to difficult using CDEF and TIME and some modulo operator to make data go unknown and then known again ... simple stuff :-) ... cheers tobi -- ______ __ _ /_ __/_ / / (_) Oetiker, Timelord & SysMgr @ EE-Dept ETH-Zurich / // _ \/ _ \/ / TEL: +41(0)1-6325286 FAX:...1517 ICQ: 10419518 /_/ \.__/_.__/_/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://ee-staff.ethz.ch/~oetiker -- * To unsubscribe from the rrd-developers mailing list, send a message with the subject: unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
