I know of iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.ifMIB.ifMIBObjects.ifXTable.\
ifXEntry.ifHC{In|Out}Octets (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.{6|10}) and I think they
are not supported by Cisco 7xxx devices running IOS 11.2.
Perhaps by other versions?

There are also OIDs available (at least on Cisco there are) that return
moving averages of bps.  Enter this into RRDtool as gauges.
