You need version 6.2 or later of the pix os in order to monitor CPU. This
according to http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/110/pixsnmp.html

Subject: [mrtg] PIX-515E CPU/Connection woes

When I try to do a snmpget against my PIX-515E for CPU usage
I get this result:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# snmpget -c dbsinfo -v 1 172.21.4.253
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: system.sysUpTime.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# snmpget -c dbsinfo -v 1 172.21.4.253
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.4.1
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: system.sysUpTime.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.4.1

now in my running config, I have

snmp-server community dbsinfo (not using public for security reasons)
snmp-server host inside 172.21.2.21 poll

Am I missing something in running config?

if I use 'cfgmaker [EMAIL PROTECTED]' I get interface information w/no
problem

Any ideas now?

-Bill
