Hi all. Thanks for all the tips. I don't think these gaps are "lows" in traffic. I attached two more pictures, a.png is from the box with "gaps". (it's a serial link to a remote site). b.png is the graph from that remote site. These two graphs should "almost" match, but a.png has those nasty gaps...

On the daily graph 10 kbytes per second is equal to 50 pixel, so 1 pixel means 200 bytes per second. This is the lowest traffic you can see on the graph. Check the log file, and compare the values to the values in the graph. Where the 'gaps' are, the traffic should be lower then 200 bytes per second (if I was correct :))) ).
