You need to be a little more specific.

If you are trying to monitor something like
the number of users currently logged in to a
web site, and it is available from a log file,
then you can write a script to get that information
and put it into a log file for MRTG to graph.

If you are talking about the amount of clothing
washed in LBS in a laundromat, it may be a little
harder.

If you are trying to monitor the number of gallons
used in a household, on a weekly basis, you
*might* be able to do it.

Hello there,

Sorry if this is vague but I was just wondering if there's any software
or hardware solution in the market that will convert a non-snmp
supported object (software or hardware) into SNMP supported so that it
can be monitored via a snmp monitoring tool. If so can you point me in
the right direction.

Any insight will be appreciated.

Regards,
/vicky
